Job Summary
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced inventory professional for our client in the St Louis area. The Inventory QA Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, product quality, and operational consistency. This position requires hands-on experience with inventory systems, strong computer skills, and accurate, high-volume data entry. The QA Associate will investigate inventory discrepancies, coordinate cycle counts, maintain documentation, and perform product quality audits to ensure standards are consistently met.
This is an on-site role in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork directly support operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
* Use inventory management systems to research data, monitor stock levels, and resolve discrepancies.
* Investigate inventory issues and perform root-cause analysis to identify trends and prevent recurrence.
* Conduct, coordinate, and reconcile routine cycle counts.
* Review and analyze variance reports in partnership with the Inventory Control Manager.
* Maintain accurate inventory records, documentation, and compliance logs.
* Execute product quality audits and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
* Assist with corrective actions, process improvements, and standard operating procedures.
* Support efforts to reduce aged, slow-moving, or obsolete inventory.
* Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
* Perform high-volume data entry with speed and accuracy to update inventory and quality records.

Qualifications
Education
* High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
* 1-3 years of experience in inventory control, quality assurance, warehouse operations, or a related field.
* Experience using inventory software/systems required.
* Experience with Lawson M3 or Exacta is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Strong computer skills, including data entry, reporting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
